~You need God in your thoughts & conversations!
Become A Better Speaker
~Marriage requires a need for communication and respect. James 1:19
Show Them Attention
~Don’t allow your cell phone or other hobbies to take 1st priority.
Develop A Solution
~It’s not “my way, or the highway!” Resolve without having a winner/loser outcome.
Poor Health Can Do Harm
~Think twice about loading up on sugar/lack of sleep! This can cause more friction in a marriage.
Be A “Help Meet”
~Don’t let your spouse’s needs die! Recharge, nourish & cherish their needs!
Study Your Spouse
~Accept them for who they are, what they do and what they need.
Connect With Your Spouse
~Talk, spend time and meet needs together! Do something to connect with your spouse.

A Marriage Retreat?
Our 2023 “Lasting Love” Marriage Retreat~was much needed! Kevin and I headed for Harrisonburg, VA last Friday into Saturday, along with several other church couples. It wasn’t anything crazy huge or super expensive, but it was a getaway. This in my opinion, is the best solution for a married couple’s retreat.
You need to have “getaway-alone-time” with each other! Life is difficult enough and…becoming more hectic every year, it seems. Stressors flood the way and crowd out that much needed time together.
