How To Find Cute & Modest Jean Skirts!
Gotta Love Those
Jean Skirts!!
Hello, Ladies! Today, I’m going to show you how to find cute & modest jean skirts! I mean…who doesn’t love a great Spring and Summer jean skirt, right?
Above all, I love how they make me feel so feminine and comfortable at the same time! They’re super easy to throw on and head out the door. Also, you can wear jean skirts with just about anything!
How To Find
Cute Denim Skirts?
There are numerous places to look for jean skirts. Clearly, it’s just a matter of finding the right fit and color for you! Lots of online, retail and thrift stores carry these, but usually you have to hunt for them.
Some skirts are seasonal; they come early Spring, early Summer or early Fall. Keep your eyes open! Remember, the early bird catches the worm. If you decide to look later in the season, you may not find that “perfect skirt.”
Where To Find
The “Perfect”
Jean Skirt
How to find cute, modest jean skirts should be super easy after reading my blog post. 🙂 I’m just going to share with you where I have found most of my skirts! So…the first pic I posted in this blog was of me looking in the mirror taking a picture. This skirt came from Target. Usually they carry denim skirts. They do tend to be a little more on the shorter side. I did love the bleach washed color!
Cato is another great store to find skirts. It can be a hit or miss with their jean skirts and sizes. Check out their online store as well. Also, check out Walmart. Usually around Spring, they come out with new colors of Lee brand skorts. These are skirts with shorts underneath. I really loved their light denim mid rise skirt, I bought about a year ago. Walmart’s website also carry’s lots of various skirts, if you type in “skirts” in the search bar. Don’t forget about Kohl’s! I’ve seen and bought jean skorts in the women’s section.
There are several online stores: Amazon, The Main Street Exchange, SHEIN and Loft. Certainly check these sites out. Hopefully, you’ll find something you like! Just type in “denim skirts or skorts” and you might find short or long skirt options.

Skirt Tip When Shopping Online: Ok, so…when you are browsing online and see a skirt you really love…here’s a tip to help you figure out if the length is right for you!
Grab a tape measure with “inch” marks and place the end at your waist (or where you wear your skirt). With this in mind, pull it down your leg to the desired place you want your skirt hem to be. (You may want to ask a friend to help you measure.) How many inches does the tape measure show once you pull it down to the desired area?
Whatever those inch marks show, is the length you want your skirt! Many websites show the length of a skirt in the description of the product. This is a tremendous help to me! Hope this will help you too.
Thrift stores may not be everyone’s cup of tea, but I have found some amazing jean skirts in them over the years! In fact, the picture above with five buttons down the front of the skirt was from a thrift shop. I just head over to the skirt section and go through the racks! However, if all else fails, try learning to sew a skirt from jean pants. Recently, I saw this on Pinterest. So cool, right?! How hard could that be?
