My Top Family Christmas Movies!
It’s a wonderful life
My husband, Kevin, loves this movie! We try to watch it every Christmas! He can quote just about the whole section where George Bailey is “lassoing the moon” for his girlfriend, Mary. I always cry at the end! I love old movies with a meaningful story!
An Affair To Remember
Growing up, I watched this tear-jerker movie with my mom. It was our go-to girl movie just about every Christmas! An Affair to Remember sounds edgy, but believe me, it’s sweet, pure, heart-touching story is the best! I always need a box of tissues next to me. I’m serious about that! Besides, who doesn’t love Cary Grant & Deborah Kerr?!?
How The Grinch Stole Christmas
I’m talking about the 1966 film (cartoon version). This is my mom’s favorite Christmas movie. Watching it makes you feel like a kid again! My favorite quote out of this film is, “Maybe Christmas he thought doesn’t come from a store, maybe Christmas perhaps means a little bit more.” It makes you stop and think…is Christmas all about expensive gifts and running around like a crazy person? Or…is Christmas about something greater?
one christmas eve
Oh my goodness, if you’ve never seen this movie~it’s a real laugh! Great for the family and full of unexpected twists and turns. I loved it so much, that I had to buy it. There is so much going on in this movie~it’s about a family that has a few complications…well, maybe a lot of complications! Anyways, it’s a great one for the family!
