The Beautiful Flower~Garden Pictures Of Summer Are Unique & Special!
Oh my goodness, I love summer! Don’t you? It’s just a wonderful time to be free of being stuck indoors and enjoy some fresh air and warm sunlight. Even as a kid, I was outside all day and almost everyday in the summertime. There’s just something special about summer! Especially when there are all sorts of flowers to enjoy and gardens to browse. Further, I love to take beautiful flower~garden pictures of summer! All are different, yet unique and special in their own way.
When I was a little girl, I loved the movie, “The Secret Garden.” This movie was released in 2009, and it is the best! The story line has to do with a little girl who’s forced to live with an uncle she’s never met, because her parents died in an earthquake. While living in her uncle’s Victorian manor or “mansion,” she discovers an unknown cousin who is an invalid. She also uncovers a “secret garden” on the premises. Nothing is told to her about this secret garden, but she brings it back to life. It’s such a great storyline!

“The Secret Garden”
This is such a special movie, I’m sure you’ll love to see it! The Secret Garden is a classic for me, since I just loved it as a kid. I’ve probably watched this movie ten or more times!
Where Was The Very First Garden?
At the beginning of Creation, the first garden to ever come into existence was “The Garden of Eden.” Where on earth was this located…you may ask? Surprisingly, the exact location is not known, but there are differing speculations out there. The Bible mentions that there was a river that went out of Eden to water the garden. From Eden, the river parted into four heads: Pison, Gihon, Hiddekel and Euphrates. In truth, man was put into the garden of Eden to “dress it and keep it.” ~Genesis 2
If man was put in charge to dress and keep it, the Garden of Eden must have been something really special! I’m sure it had a lot to offer. You and I know that if a garden isn’t kept up, it will die. It must have been one of the most beautiful gardens! In fact, just imagine how amazing it really was…the air was clean, the flowers were bold, bright and beautiful, the animals were tame, the water was crisp and pure, and there was the right amount of shade from the trees. How perfect it must have been if God Himself created it!
Gardens Are The Best!
Just think…where would you be today without gardens? Clearly, they provide food, and also provide beauty and solace. Can you imagine not having another flower to look at? This world would be pretty gloomy wouldn’t it?! I can’t even imagine a world without flowers or gardens! Gardens are places to rest, think or meditate. Sometimes life becomes so hectic that you and I need a place to chill. A place to “shut down,” so to speak and admire beautiful things.
Equally important, working in a garden can give you something to do. My grandpa loves working in his garden! It’s a place for him to do his own work and take his ideas and make them reality. The garden is a place to imagine and be alone. Jesus prayed alone in the Garden of Gethsemane in Jerusalem. What a beautiful place to pray! It’s a perfect place, uninterrupted in the middle of beauty and serene calmness. Above all, enjoy today and try to find a place to call your own “Secret Garden.”
