Welcome To Our Little Family Adventure!
My Grandma Marie
Came For A Visit!
A John Adams historical family adventure with grandma turned out to be quite an exciting weekend after all! Have you ever visited the homes of our second President, John Adams? These homes are full of rich history and artifacts. Believe me, they are worth taking a trip to see!

This past weekend, Grandma Marie flew into Washington, D.C. From there, my husband, Kevin, and I drove her to Massachusetts. She was finally able to visit the homes of her ancestors, President John Adams and John Quincy Adams. For years, grandma Marie would often talk about these famous homes and how she would love to visit them one day!

You see, our family history on my grandmother’s side, reveals a wonderful genealogy report. This well documented report states that it was well~known in the family that our ancestor, “Mary Adams,” was related to the family who birthed two Presidents to the United States. This was all very exciting for my grandma! Kevin and I wanted her to see her family history.

The President’s homes are located in Quincy, Massachusetts, thus the name “Quincy.” These homes were originally built on farm land with nothing around. It looks quite different now with buildings surrounding the famous homes. Don’t let that fool you, the stories inside will blow you away! Check out Adams National Historical Park if you’re interested in visiting or for more information.

The Adams family attended United First Parish Church in the heart of Quincy, MA. You don’t want to miss it! Tours are provided telling about the Adams family. You’ll never guess what lies below in the basement of the church…John and Abigail’s crypt!

Overall, a John Adams historical family adventure with grandma turned out to be a success! Grandma loved it and I’m so thankful she experienced this exciting adventure with us!
